As part of our aim to share knowledge, promote collaboration, highlight expertise and address important issues in forestry and development, ECTF holds approximately one major international conference per year.  Other smaller events such as training and seminars are held on an ad hoc basis.

The Tropical Savannas & Seasonally Dry Forests Conference that took place at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh created a forum for exchange for delegates from all over the world. September 2003
The conference The World Summit on Sustainable Development: What does it mean for forestry? was a great success and created interesting discussions as a result. November 2002
